Hello everyone I love so much!

I love Palau! Even though I almost get bit by wild dogs about 10 times a day, and always come home covered in mosquito bites! But there is nowhere else I would rather be!

This week we have really been focusing on finding new investigators. My Area, Midtown, has kind of hit a little dry spell. No one we meet really wants to listen and some of our investigators are not really progressing. Because of this we spend a lot of afternoons just knocking on huts. It sometimes gets pretty frustrating when no one wants to listen but I have just been trying to be as Christ like as possible and to just love everyone, even when they are screaming at me and spitting betel nut in my face!

A Christ like attribute I have really been trying to focus on is patience. (I’ve learned that I do not have patience.) But that patience is so important in this work.
We have to be patient in knowing that Heavenly Father is constantly preparing people to receive the gospel and that when they are ready he will put them into our path. He is not just going to give them to us.

We have to diligently seek to find them and show our faith by enduring through the hard times. As we do Heavenly Father will know that we truly want to help these people and that we truly want to find them. That is when he will trust us with the salvation of his children. First comes the hardships. Then come the blessings.

It is such a blessing to have that knowledge because I know that even though I am having a hard time right now, if I endure it well, Heavenly Father is going to bless me and guide me to those who are ready for his Gospel.

DESTINY GOT BAPTIZED!

Yes that is right your wayward son has brought another soul back to our Heavenly Father! The baptism was so sweet and the spirit was so strong and you could just see how happy Destiny was! Baptisms are just the best part of missionary work!

Genesis was supposed to get baptized with Destiny but he just was not quite ready. He has been reset to be baptized on October 10th and I am positive that he will be ready for that day. Genesis is awesome and has such a strong testimony. All that is left is to get him in the water! Haha.

Tuesday we had exchanges and I got to spend the whole day with my BFF Elder Bush! We always have so much fun together and have a blast teaching together! He is just awesome!

We also found a spider in our apartment THE SIZE OF MY HAND! We both were screaming like little girls and I am pretty sure I pooped my pants a little. It was terrifying. Eventually we managed to kill it and flush it down the toilet. I will never be scared of the spiders back home compared to what I have seen now.

The assistants were also here this week, and I learned so much from them! It was awesome! They really showed me how to give everyone the best opportunity possible to accept the gospel which was really cool!

Saturday We had Destiny’s Baptism which was the best! And then that night these members that are here visiting took us to eat at the NICEST RESORT IN ALL OF PALAU. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

Hope all is well! I finish training this week which will be awesome!

Any way that was my week! It was pretty great!

Love you all to the 4th power!
