Alii!

Hey everyone it was another great week here on the island of Palau, under the hot sun.

This week we performed some service at “A’s” house (a member). We helped move some logs, and she taught us how to husk some coconuts! It was great fun.

We do service twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I love serving because, you know when we are in the service of your fellow being you are only in the service of your God. AND I LOVE SERVING GOD!

Our investigator “J” is doing very well. He still struggles with the word of wisdom. However, he attended a baptism on Saturday and told us. “I know this is true I want to be baptized next Saturday. Can you help me? ” OF COURSE, WE SAID YES!  Ha-ha He asked for a copy of the Doctrine and Covenants, and a copy of “The Family A Proclamation To The World.” “J” IS THE MAN!

We started teaching “JM” again. As you recall he is the oldest son of the “M” family. He was on the shelf for a while because he was not really progressing. We visited them last night because one of the granddaughters is going back to Texas and we wanted to say goodbye. We talked to “JM” about his feelings about the gospel? (since he attends every week) He said, he feels like he is ready to get baptized. So, cool! I love that family! They also fed us some spaghetti, yum!

I love this church. I know it is true. Life is good, and the ocean is blue!

Ak Betik a renguk er kemiu!!! molemolem el mo er a ulebongel!

The Assistants are also here today. Elder Paewai and Elder MCComb. We are going to Toby’s Beach!

Until next week. I love you all!
