Alii everyone I love with all my heart!
So this week was pretty sweet!
Tuesday, I was on exchanges with my BFF Elder Bush and it was so fun! The exchange was way awesome. We saw a some really good people, and had a lot of heart to heart conversations about life and other important things. It was great!
Elder Bush, had a Baptism this week which was the best! Her name is Larissa and I had the opportunity to meet her. She is so sweet and was just so ready for the Gospel it was incredible. She is actually Elder Bush’s next door neighbor too; which is kind of funny.
Elder Bush, will be having another baptism for a girl named Lyn this upcoming weekend which will be fantastic! I just love watching people follow their Savior!
In other news, Genesis is doing awesome! He has completely quit smoking and chewing. (when I say chewing in my emails I am referring to Betel nut which is the grossest thing ever) All Genesis has left to do is get his marriage legalized; which he is doing this week, and then he can be baptized! If all goes well, he should be baptized this weekend. Please keep him in your prayers! It has been a long road with Genesis, but he is finally there. I love him so much and I have seen how the Gospel has changed and blessed his and his family’s life.
The Gospel has blessed my life so much, and that is why I am on my mission. I want others to have the Gospel in their lives so that they can feel the exceeding joy that comes from it; that I have felt my whole life.
It was not until now, being on my mission, that I truly realized how much the Gospel has changed and blessed my life. I now know that everything that I truly love in this world comes from the Gospel. My Patriarchal Blessing was right when it said that every great experience in my life would be centered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I now know this is true and I am so thankful for a Heavenly Father that loves and blesses me so much.
We have a new Investigator named Gus, who seems to be ready to follow our Savior. He tells us every time we come see him, that he can feel the spirit so strong, and that he has felt that the Gospel is true. I have only seen this man a few times and I already love him. He has a few things that we are working on with him, but I know he is ready to follow our Savior and I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father trusted me enough to lead me to him; so that I can help him return to our loving Father in Heaven.
I am doing well. Living in Palau has made me very humble. I just love serving!
I love being with the people of Palau all day, every day. There is nothing better that I could be doing with my life at this moment. I have always felt true love for everyone I meet, no matter who they are. That gift has been magnified on my mission. I just love everyone. (Even people who yell at me, throw rocks at me, and spit betel nut at me.) I still love them with all my heart, because I know that they are children of God and that he loves them with all his heart too.
I think I am gaining weight… I don’t know ha-ha.
This evening we are invited to a member’s house for Family Home Evening. They have a non-member son; so we are going to try and teach him the restoration. I am looking forward to it.
I love you all and thank you for all the support!
Until next week!
Love Elder Rengul a Ngalek (Rupp)
