Alii from Palau!

Man this week has been up and down!

First some good news, I received my Palauan mastery this week! I could have earned it a lot sooner but I was just really lazy about getting the locals to pass me off on stuff. (you know how great I am at procrastination mom) it is okay; all that matters is that I have it now. It is crazy to think I can fluently speak another language. Wait until I tell my old Spanish teachers! Ha ha

I love this language so much. It truly has become the language of my heart. I do not think that I will ever say a prayer in English again. I am definitely teaching my future wife Palauan! (If I can ever find a wife) Ah man, I just love Palauan. 🙂

Do any of you remember the kid named PJ I was teaching when I first started out on my mission?

WELL HE JUST GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY! IT WAS SO COOL TO SEE! I LOVE PJ SO MUCH AND I AM SO GRATEFUL TO MY FATHER IN HEAVEN WHO ALLOWED ME TO CROSS PATHS WITH HIM, AND ALLOWED ME TO PLAY A SMALL PART IN HELPING HIM RECEIVE THE GOSPEL.

We are working with a lot of awesome people right now… “J” just got back from Texas and she is still solid and is getting baptized on the 25th of June!

“J-jr” still does not feel quite ready but it is because he has not been reading the Book of Mormon. We are going to start reading it with him every day and committing him to pray about it. I know he will get there.

We recently met this new family and the Dad, “C” is so SOLID! He always tells us “ak oumerang a Mormons. kmal suak el mo metechold!” which means “I believe Mormons; I really want to be baptized!” It is just so cool! We are also working with the rest of his family but the Mom says she has already been baptized…. but she loves to study with us and says she is going to pray about the Book of Mormon. “C” is already fellow-shipping her too. It is the best! I really love this family.

Well that is all I can think of this week. I just truly love being a missionary.

THIS IS GODS TRUE CHURCH. THE BOOK OF MORMON IS TRUE. AND I WILL DO THIS WORK UNTIL THE DAY I DIE. I WONT STOP UNTIL EVERY EAR HAS HEARD THE GLORIOUS NEWS THAT THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE PRIESTHOOD HAVE BEEN RESTORED TO THE EARTH. I KNOW JESUS CHRIST LIVES AND LOVES US.
