Hey every one… WOW, I just love you all!
Elder Bush is leaving! I do not know what I am going to do without him. He is the best ever! I am so thankful for this time; I have had to serve with him. I look up to him so much.
I remember the first time I saw him in Guam, and I was like man that guy really has it ALL together. I want to be like “that guy” when I am at that point in my mission.
He has been there every step of the way, to help me become a great missionary. He is an amazing missionary himself and has such a great spirit about him. He has an awesome testimony of the gospel. He is just the best! I am going to miss him a ton. I know he is going to do amazing things out there in the “real world”.
So Transfers…
Elder Climer and I are kicking it for another 6 weeks! Ha ha #alldayeveryday
Elder Jenson and Sister Fulcher are both training.
Also, Elder Jenson received his Palauan mastery yesterday; so he is kind of a stud!
Okay onto the week…
We had an awesome week full of fun laughs and serving the lord.
Last Monday we played kick ball and like 20 kids came up to us and asked if they could play too so of course we said adang (which is of course) it was so fun!
On Thursday we had our last district meeting with Elder Bush. To celebrate we bought Digiorno’s pizza and it was so good. It was probably the best pizza I have had my whole mission! The other pizza here just tastes like rubber. haha gross!
On Saturday we performed some service for our investigator “U”. We got to do a ton of WORK in her garden it was so fun. This Tuesday we are going back to finish. “U” is the best ever!
She has already read through Jacob in the Book of Mormon and she knows it is true. She wants to be baptized so bad, and she has already quit chewing. (and we have not even taught her the word of wisdom yet.) AND she drove 40 minutes from her house in Aimeliik to church on Sunday, and brought her daughter with her. She is the best!
I know this church is true. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves us. I know that this is the most important work in the world. I know that as we lose our lives for the Lord’s sake, we will find it. I have definitely seen that promised fulfilled in my life, and also in the lives of my family. I love this church, and I know it is true!
Love,
Elder Rupp
