Alii everyone I love with all my heart!

So, I know there are some rumors floating around about a so-called flight itinerary for Elder Rupp’s return home… all I must say about that is… nope. I am not coming home. ha-ha

WOW so this great week was full of ups and downs again… but that is OK, because the Church is true and nothing is going to change that! Praise to the man! ha-ha

I was mostly sick yesterday for Easter, SO BUMMED. I had to spend the whole day in the house! I received a blessing from the other Elders, and I feel SO much better now. I am so thankful for the priesthood.

But before I got sick, I had the opportunity to go on an exchange with Elder Warr up in Honto.

The mission President wants them to be focusing a lot more of their efforts around the church building in the village.

Well a lot of those people are very hard hearted. The mission President wanted us to try and just go about and be friendly with people, and try and get on their good side.

As we were walking through the village we say a few high school kids were playing twenty-one at the basketball court. I immediately dropped my backpack and started playing with them!

They thought it was so funny that this tall white kid in church clothes was playing basketball AND THAT HE COULD SPEAK PALAUAN ha-ha it was a fun game. Surprisingly I ended up winning!

After the game, we gave them all pass along cards and jotted down all their names and addresses. We told them we would be back next Saturday to play some more ball and have a lesson… they loved it! It really was a great experience! And now Babeldaob has eight new investigators!

Our area has hit a little of a rough patch lately. While we are still working with some wonderful children of God we have been doing a lot more finding. We found an awesome kid named “R”!

We were walking through part of our area called Kesabelau, and as we were walking by one house I felt impressed to stop. I looked at my companion and said, “you know, I do not think I have ever knocked on this houses door… let’s try it.” as we walked up we saw “R” sitting out front. He let us in, and we shared a little about the restoration, and he accepted baptism! Truly a prepared soul!

We returned the next day and found him out front again. He had finished reading his pamphlet and had some questions about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, which of course we were over joyed to answer! He is doing really great! I know the Lord truly is preparing people. NOW WE HAVE JUST GOT TO FIND THEM!

in other news, the “M” family is doing well! “J” accepted a calling as a primary teacher and is doing so great! They are going to Texas this summer, to see their daughter “M” (the same “M” we are going to go visit) so they want to coordinate so we can all meet up!

That is about it for this week. I hope you had a great Easter. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know he is the Prince of Peace! I know this his is Church!

I just love the gospel! OH, HOW GREAT THE PLAN OF OUR GOD!

I love you all!

Elder Rupp
