Alii everyone I love with all my heart!

OK so this past week was pretty bittersweet…

On Tuesday, I went on exchanges with Elder Warr in my area, Midtown. It was a cool experience because I really had to take over and be the leader. (Something I hate doing) ha-ha. Most days, Elder Climer usually takes the lead because he has been on Palau much longer than I have.

Being on exchanges with Elder Warr, combined with not knowing the area very well forced me to come out of my comfort zone. It was an amazing growing experience. Throughout the day, I found that I have become a much better missionary. My Palauan is much better than I thought it was. I had more confidence and overall it was a really great day! I met a lot of nice and many not so nice people. I think you could say it was a successful exchange.

On a sad note tonight Palau is losing a great Sister, Sister Mika. She has completed her mission and is now going back home to Australia. She has been an incredible missionary and I am thankful for this small amount of time I have had to serve with her. Palau is really going to miss her!

OK onto a happy note!

So the new missionary, Sister Fulcher, is actually way cool! She is a great missionary and a super hard worker. She is from Australia and has a SUPER thick Australian accent. She also loves super heroes about as much as I do, which is so cool! We always talk about super heroes when we see each other.

One other good note, my friend Gulf was baptized this weekend! He was one of the Sisters investigators and he is the man! I love him. He already wants to come teaching with us.

Well that is about it for this week. It was bitter sweet. However, my faith is stronger than it has ever been; and I am loving every minute of my mission!

Now, I am going to go lay on the beach, play my Ukulele, and eat some fish. I am truly an Island boy now!

Hang loose everyone, I love you all!

Ak betik a renguk er kemiu!

Until next week!

Love, Elder Rengul a Ngalek Rupp
