Alii Everyone I love so much!
First off, I have really been trying to be completely focused on my Savior and his work. More so than I have been. I have truly seen the blessings that have already come from this slight shift in thinking. I love my Savior and I love this work. There is nothing more worthwhile that I could be doing with my life now, and I know that this is what my Savior needs me to be doing.
Okay, so my family has been wondering what “Rengul a Ngalek” means?
This actually is my Palauan name. “Rengul a Ngalek” means “Heart of a Child”. Our investigator, Genesis gave me this name because I am always running around playing with the kids and drawing with them.
Also my self-given Palauan name is… “Olik El Sechal”, which means BAT MAN ha ha.
Our investigators are doing well. We have about three that should be baptized in the next few weeks.
I also met a man from Granite Bay! His name is Shane and he is from Palau! He said, that his sister is a member and that she has been trying to get him to read the Book of Mormon. He is open to learn so Mom you should find him on Facebook and send the missionaries to him.
One more thing…
Being on Palau and being a missionary has made me realize that I do not need the newest or best things to be happy. All I need to be happy is my Family, the Gospel, and good friends. Those are the things that make me truly happy.
Okay, well that should do it! I love you and I hope you have an amazing week!
I love you all!
Until next week,
Love, Elder Olik El Sechal
