Alii, Alii everyone I love with all my heart!

Wow, it has been a great week! Elder Call and I have been working so hard to find more investigators; and our work seems to be paying off!

The members are awesome! We had 79 at Church on Sunday! Which is more than we have had in months.

The new Branch President has been very good about going out and visiting the less actives. Things are growing here! The “M” family are doing good. I taught “L” & “J” how to tie a tie yesterday, and the family came to a baptism on Saturday as well. We are still working with “J” on baptism. We are reading a chapter in the Book of Mormon with him every day, and he is praying about it. He is set for his baptism on October, 15th.

Every day, it is our goal that EVERYONE we see will get an opportunity to hear the Gospel! It doesn’t matter if they are doing yard work, sitting on their porch, or just walking by… we talk to them all! It has been so fun! Our teaching pool is really growing, and we are finding a lot of awesome people.

“U” came to church yesterday for the 3rd time, and is preparing for baptism on this Friday, before we go back to Guam. I am so excited for her. She has grown and changed so much! The other night she just thanked us for like twenty minutes, for coming and seeing her, and stopping and talking to her. I felt kind of awkward when she did, because I know that I did not do anything, it was all the Lord working through us. It was the Lord that softened her heart. It was the Lord that reached out to her.

I see “L” every once in a while, and she is doing awesome! She is filling out her marriage papers and is preparing for baptism again.

The Lord loves each of us, and it is our Job as his servants to live so he can work through us.  He does the teaching. I love Jesus Christ! He is just the best!

Guess who I ran into up in Babeldaob yesterday? “G”! He has a new job, and is now living up there. He still wants to be baptized! Elder Jenson will be teaching him. So cool! Now is his time.

I have not eaten anything new lately. I have really been trying to eat healthy and get back in shape! Elder Call, and I get up at 5:30am every morning to run the bridge for an hour.

I love this work so much. I love Jesus Christ, and I know the church is true. I love having the opportunity to learn and grow, and be humbled every day, so I can become the son my Heavenly Father needs me to be.  The Church is true!

Love,

Elder Rupp
