It was so good to talk to my wonderful family on the phone today! I love them so much. It was so nice to hear they are all doing well. Ak kmal betik a renguk er tir! e ak kmal miss er tir!
This week was awesome! “E” and “R” are amazing! “R” came to church on Sunday and loved it. He will be baptized on May 21st. I love him!
“E” is also doing fantastic! She missed church, but she came the week before and is coming this week. She has such a good heart and is so prepared for the gospel. She will be baptized on May 28th.
So I am now a “tripanionship”, which means sometimes I am a solo missionary. Sometimes I have to go teaching with just myself and a member. It is pretty scary being the only missionary in the area. However, it is still fun because I am doing the Lords work! It is a little weird when I have to say “have you ever seen a missionary like me before?” rather than, “have you ever seen missionaries like us before?” ha ha. We will probably continue on as a “tripanionship” until the next transfer. Crazy!
I love this work and this gospel. I took the church for granted back home. I will never make that mistake again! This church is the best thing in the world and I am so thankful to be a part of it, and to be doing the lords work. THE CHURCH IS TRUE!
President Zarbock visited Palau recently, and gave some special training. At one point he talked about marriage… I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I AM EVER GOING TO GET MARRIED! HAHA I CAN NOT EVEN LOOK AT A GIRL ANYMORE I AM SO AWKWARD; AH MAN IT IS GOING TO BE A STRUGGLE!
Love,
Elder Rupp
